Louise Johnson has delighted audiences throughout the world with her harp playing for over 50 years and is recognised as a harpist of extraordinary skill and musical insight.
Her extensive ability is unlimited as a solo, chamber and orchestral musician and her repertoire ranges from classical to contemporary and jazz.
As well as performing with the London Symphony Orchestra, all the Australian Symphony Orchestras, The Australian Chamber Orchestra and the Australia Ensemble, Louise was Principal Harp of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra from 1985-2019.
She has worked with legendary conductors such as Claudio Abbado and Lorin Maazel and legendary artists including Sammy Davis Junior and Cher.
She is also a sought after mentor and teaches at the Sydney Conservatorium, Patron of the Harp Society of NSW, founder of Harp Holiday and Music Director of Roseville Music Club.
